"A friend told me about MELT and how it helped her hands with her work as a beautician, along with other areas of her body, and she knew I had issues with hip pain and thought it would help me. It also appealed to me as a holistic approach to better health. I started with the ball series [Intro to MELT Series] and with the first session I felt different and really couldn't explain what it was, but that first night I slept better than I had in a long time. I have since completed the roller series [MELT 101 Roller Series], and my body has only improved. 

"The first time I did the calf glide and shear on the roller I was surprised how big the ball of tension and pain was in my calves. It felt as if I had a tennis ball in the back of my legs, so much so I could barely stand the gliding. With Nikole's guidance, I learned to work around those areas to relieve the stuck stress and not cause pain. Now close to ten weeks later, there is basically no discomfort in my calves and the ball I used to feel is all but gone. I don't even flinch when gliding and shearing now. As a runner I know MELT is going to help me be a better, stronger runner, and taking the weekly class now is giving me more tools to improve my health. As a very active person I highly recommend MELT as I think it will enhance your fitness, but I also believe it is good for anyone who simply wants to feel better day-to-day. If you're willing to give it a chance and commit to using the tools and guidance you're given, I think you will be very satisfied.

"MELT has helped me greatly in 3 short months. I had my hip replaced a few years ago which hindered my mobility and flexibility greatly. I had stiff shoulders, one of which was dislocated many years ago, and a very sore knee, which I figured I would need to get replaced shortly. I started MELTing about three months ago and have added more and more MELT sequences and maps as I get acquainted with the moves.  I now can use my whole body better than the past 10 or 12 years since my hip started getting sore. I am more flexible and can do things like bending over and picking something up off the floor or ground. I can get down to the floor and up off the floor or ground without having to hold onto something to pull myself up. I don't feel pain and stiffness as I do many physical tasks. My knee feels better and I can walk and carry things, reach for things, and bend around to do things much better than the past years. What a blessing to feel and act like I did 10-15 years ago. "I have been practicing yoga for 20 years and I love it. Nikole....is doing a great job. Yoga is a fantastic way to maintain and improve core strength, flexibility and joint mobility, it is great for unwinding and relaxation (Savasana). Standing (Tadasana) can even be a work out! It is invaluable to have a teacher that is focused on proper alignment and detail in the poses. Nikole does focus on alignment and detail, she really wants her students to avoid injury, but still get the maximum physical and psychological benefits of Yoga. Nikole teaches MELT as well. I recently took the beginning 4-week hand and foot MELT course [Intro to MELT Series] with Nikole as well. Melt is a wonderful companion to Yoga or any sport.
